Alto Club - Golf Resort

Located near Alvor, a picturesque fishing village in the Western Algarve, this course is set in rolling countryside with views out to the Atlantic and to the busy provincial town of Portimo.

Sir Henry Cotton designed this course and it features one of the longest par S's in Europe.

18 holes - par 72(73) "Length 6,125 metres

Golfe Santo António

Just 15 minutes beyond the historic town of Lagos, this is the most westerly of the Algarve courses.

The land is totally different. The course is crafted through valley and over hills.

The resort offers not only golf, but also archery, bowls, horse riding, mountain biking, tennis and has a fabulous new health & beauty spa.

18 holes - Par 72 - 5,670 metres

Palmares Golf Course

Palmares is 5km east of Lagos.

Follow "Meia Praia" and "Golf" road signs near the Marina Palmares has spectacular views out over the Bay of Lagos.

It combines links-style golf on the first nine holes, with a second nine that are slightly hillier.

Penina

Penina is approximately 15 minutes from Lagos and is made up of 36 holes, which is divided into the 18 hole Championship course, the 9 hole Resort Course and the 9 hole Academy course.

The Championship course is the masterpiece of Sir Henry Cotton. The course has been carefully upgraded over recent years. 18 Championship Course Par 73 - 6,343 metres

9 holes Resort Course - Par 35 - 2,987 metres

9 holes Academy Course - par 30 - 2,035 metres

Boavista

This course is located between Lagos and Praia da Luz.

Set overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the town of Lagos and inland to the Monchique hills, Quinta da Boa Vista is a new course and a very welcome addition to the Algarve scene.

Designed by Howard Swan there is an 18 hole championship course and driving range.

18 holes - par 71(71) Length 6053 metres
